Art India Foundation through its project "Art to Schools" had arranged Demonstration and lecture on art form "Calligraphy"
by Prof. Babu Udupi in which there was a dialogue with students during question answer session. During the lecture Prof. Babu Udupi
explained the development of marathi and english alphabets. Prof. Babu Udupi is a master in Calligraphy. He had done G. D. Art with third rank in State in 1972. He was retired as Principal from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya. He has designed several fonts for DTP for Devnagari and Kannada. He has worked with several leading publications and advertising agencies. |
