Course Objectives

• To know how cartoons are drawn.
• How different subjects are selected.
• Study of subjets to draw particular subjactwise cartoons.
• How to develop characters and how to make them appealing and educative.

Course Contents

This course is of 4 sessions

• Every member is given Xerox charts of different forms.
• Faculty explains how cartoon drawing is developed.
• Faculty shows how different forms are developed by actually drawing on paper with black chisel marker.
• Cartoons are mostly drawn in black & white, because it gives clarity in reproduction. To begin with basic forms are taught & developed into characters. Some forms are repeated so as to have perfection in characters. Subsequently cartoons are drawn on Themes & Ideas.
