Art India Foundation through its project "Art to Schools" arranged a lecture demonstration of watercolour painting by Chitra Vaidya at Madhavrao Bhagwat High School, Vile Parle, Mumbai on Saturday 10th December 2011.
This event was organised by Art India Foundation as part of "M K Kelkar Art Initiative". Late Shri M. K. Kelkar was a well known watercolour artist from Mumbai who trained under eminent artist late Shri. S. L. Haldankar. The family of late Shri M. K. Kelkar has extended its support to the project "Art to Schools" and several events have been planned under the banner "M K Kelkar Art Initiative".

Art India Foundation through its project "Art to Schools" had arranged Demonstration and lecture on art form "Calligraphy" by Prof. Babu Udupi in which there was a dialogue with students during question answer session. During the lecture Prof. Babu Udupi explained the development of marathi and english alphabets.

Shreevardhan & Dive Aagar Painting Camp 2011 Shreevardhan & Dive Aagar Painting Camp 2011
Art India Foundation had organised Landscape Painting and Photography camp at Shreevardhan and Dive Aagar between 5th to 7th November 2011. The participants worked under the guidance of watercolour artist Sandeep Yadav. Sandeep Yadav demonstrated the techniques of painting landscape and seascapes in watercolour and acrylic medium. He also gave tips on sketching and composition. The participants undertook live painting at different spots during this camp.

Make Eco Friendly Ganesh IdolsYugpath & Art India Foundation organised a workshop for sculpting Ganesh Idols the Eco friendly way (using Shadu clay). Participants were guided through the entire process right from mixing the clay, giving finishing touches and painting.

Art India Foundation and Yugpath organised an exhibition of Eco Friendly Ganesh Idols at Balgandharv Kaladalan, Pune on 30th & 31st August 2011. These Ganesh idols were created at several workshops in the month of August 2011.
Along with the above mentioned exhibition, Indiaart has also invited sculptors whose sculptures created using eco-friendly materials such as coconut shell, Paper, Bamboo and Bronze.
